I've been focusing my days on school, the pageant coming up and my volunteering time.
I just finished my first relay for cancer ! I was so pumped and excited for this event and it was such a success ! :)
We started our walk at 6pm and didn't end until 6 am the next morning , it was a long 12 hours but SO worth the experience. I met new people, heard lots a inspiring story's of Survivors and really was able to reflect on my personal life in the sense of enab ling growth of understanding and educating myself on this disease. I was then able to realize how it effects the people surround us each day without us really knowing it,
we need to celebrate for the Survivors, remember the lost and fight back for their future !
Our Team name was 'Cures are here' we thought of this from the quote off that ever so popular MTV show Jersey Shore, one of the main characters named Deena is well known for saying "CABS ARE HERR" . I didn't get many photos, I was walking 500 miles, REALLY!

CANCER NEVER SLEEPS AND NEITHER DID WE ! |
I hope you don't give up on visiting because of my delayed posts habit Ive started :( .
PS - while I was visiting the animals at the local SPCA this week , I found out they just took in 6 baby puppy's , so cute I wish I has photos sorry everyone :(
OH and the husky I was visiting each week is doing great her name is Star and shes 6 , she was rescued by the SPCA from a breeding house. IF anyone doesn't know what that is its when mentally sick people< HAVE TO BE TO BE ABLE TO THINK THIS IS RIGHT?!> force dogs to breed with each other even if the dogs have medical issues, sore or can not breed anymore puppy's which has age factors or litter amounts in the past. Most dogs come out of this died, timid and scared for life, or have serious health issues for the rest of their life.
People think of all the precious loving animals that are at your local shelter next time your thinking of adding another tail to the family :)

Until next time ,
